Waldo was on his nice morning walk, still a little qirky after last time, as usual, the smell of wet pine trees wafted through the forest. soon he found a lake.
He also saw a stone bridge. Waldo walked to it but suddenly a villager with a HUGE nose and a purple outfit popped out of nowhere. he said "this is the one meter path of weeds, once a man like you crossed it and never returned. As waldo began to cross a large banging noise filled his ears WHAT THE!!!

FLOOD IN KERIKERI
As I went to bed the constant pitter-patter -pitter-patter of rain hit the roof. I tried to think about tomorrow and how we would take a three hour drive to Auckland and go back to Christchurch. BOOM-BOOM-BOOM the lightning drowned out my thoughts, "oh well best try to get to sleep, big day tomorrow" I said to myself as I drifted off to sleep. I will be able to see Mum and my brother and sister again!
The next day we packed our bags and got into the car to begin the drive.
It seemed that it had rained heaps and the paddocks of many farms had been flooded and some bridges had lots of water gushing over them. the water was a tan colour as it had probably been over loads of dirt and had turned all murky.

as we continued to drive, we tried to cross lot of flooded bridges and eventually when we thought we thought there was no more floods, we went into the hills and around the corner there was a landslip! We turned around and went another way, but all of a sudden we saw a bridge with one and a half meters of water running over it! Guess what? We crossed it! After about one hour we got to Auckland and flew back home.
